coffee stains and petrol stations.

Jesus turned around to face to his twelve disciples. "Do you also want to go away?"
Simon Peter spoke out, with words that ring through the halls of eternity, 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.'
Cliches are dangerous things. Things heard over and over are like clicks of a mouse at a computer. They simply blend into the background, and you forget they are even there. i probably click the buttons of my mouse hundreds of times a day, but i never hear it.
Billions of people throughout history have read either the bible or what there was of it. The problem is, they hear the words contained over and over again, and become desensitized to what its really worth.
Life is the most amazing thing ever thought of. To breathe, to live, to be aLIVE, is greater than any discovery of an atom or any theory. Its greater than the inventions of man or the power of computers. Scientists cant explain why or how, nor control it.
This is what Peter professed Jesus to have. not only this, but this + forever. Jesus is life and will always be life.
Lets not let this blend in with the coffee stains on our shirts and the weekly stops at petrol stations. Jesus is above the mundane, above the everyday.

Yes life amazing painful at times but a gift. We could so easily not have been here.
